Behind Every Marine Is a Family That Stands Beside Them
Every day, Marine Security Guards stand watch at U.S. embassies around the world, protecting American diplomats, classified information, and our nation's interests abroad. While their mission is visible, the sacrifices made by their families often go unseen.
Post One Families Association was founded to change that.
We are an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Marine Security Guard families throughout every stage of the program—from MSG School to embassy assignments and beyond. We provide connection, advocacy, emergency assistance, and morale programs that strengthen the families standing behind our Marines.
Military life overseas brings incredible opportunities, but it also presents unique challenges. Families are often separated from their support systems, navigating new cultures, time zones, emergencies, and holidays far from home. Our mission is to ensure they never have to face those moments alone.

What We Do
Operation Home for the Holidays
Each holiday season, we work to send care packages to Marine Security Guard detachments around the world, bringing a little piece of home to those serving overseas.
Family Emergency Travel Fund
When unexpected emergencies arise, distance and travel costs can become overwhelming. Our Emergency Travel Fund helps spouses and families during life's most difficult moments.
Morale Booster Program
Anyone can nominate a Marine serving at MSG School or an embassy post to receive a birthday surprise, graduation gift, care package, or small reminder that someone back home is thinking about them.
Anonymous Family Submission
Families can anonymously share concerns, questions, or trends they are experiencing. While we may not always have the authority to resolve every issue, we serve as a liaison by elevating concerns to the appropriate leadership when appropriate. Sometimes awareness is the first step toward positive change.
Community Resources
We connect families through educational resources, private online communities, mentorship, and practical tools that help make overseas life a little easier.
